Birdhouse at sunset

I was out taking pictures of other things, but the light coming through the trees on this birdhouse caught my attention. I like the way this picture turned out.

Summer Nights

Just a fun evening, following a fun day. No matter what I originally plan to shoot, I always end up with my favorite subject.

Wishing I was here...

New York City, at sunset. I can almost smell the hot dogs and roasted nuts.

Again with the lighting...

We spent Labor Day at the beach, so the next few posts will be beach pictures. I thought about spacing them out, but these pictures are a good reflection of where my mind is right now.

Going out for one final swim, before the sunlight fades. I love how they're almost silhouetted, with the light reflecting on the ocean behind them. 

 

The sun continues to set...

I think this is my favorite - the colors on the water are just beautiful!

It's all about the lighting.

These pictures were taken in the same spot, on the same day - first thing in the morning (well, around 9 am) and then the last thing in the evening.

Ready for Lift Off

Space Camp 2009 - This isn't the best picture, but the colors were so incredible! This was taken when we went with my daughter's class to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. A cool, beautiful evening.
